The White Space Apartment, designed by Don Lin, is a residential project that redefines the concept of a contemporary living space. The design challenges for this project were twofold. Firstly, the hidden solid walls and the typical layout of the floor template required a reinvention to create a more unconventional and visually appealing space. Secondly, the approach was to allow visitors to enter with a common mentality but leave with an enormous expectation. The design successfully achieves this goal by surprising and delighting visitors with its unique and captivating elements.

The White Space Apartment was realized in Singapore over a period of 4-5 weeks. The project showcases the creativity and technical expertise of Don Lin, who has successfully transformed a simple white space into a contemporary and flamboyant residential design.

This design has been recognized and awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2016. This prestigious award acknowledges the outstanding and creatively ingenious nature of the design, showcasing the incorporation of best practices in art, science, design, and technology.
